Stingray Jim wishes to use his notoriety and efforts to support Children's Charities at Adios, and he hopes you will support this worthy cause with him.

In 1990, the extended family of Stingray Jim formed Children's Charities at Adios.  Its mission is to support  charities that help children and the elderly to overcome birth defects, disease, or unfortunate accidents.  These carefully-selected charities are loving, effective organizations that are sincerely working hard so the people they benefit can overcome adversity and "live" as normal lives as possible.

Stingray Jim's son, John Bertakis, is a past President of this organization and currently is on the Board of Directors, where he has served for many years.  John's father-in-law, Anthony Giorgio, is Co-founder of Children's Charities at Adios and has been on the Board of Directors since inception.  Children's Charities at Adios has been a part of our family for many years, and we are very diligent and passionate about supporting its fine efforts.

 

Children's Charities at Adios


    *  Children's Charities at Adios is a registered 501(3)(c) non-profit corporation, which allows federal tax deductions for donors.

    *  All charities to which Children's Charities donates are annually audited to must meet strict criteria of having no more than 10% overhead and administration costs (i.e., 90% of your donation goes directly to help the people these charities serve)

    * Since its formation, over $1,000,000 has been donated to over 15 needy charities.
